CLOUD ENGINEER / CONSULTANT

Cloud is your future and you love translating that to the technical environment of our customers! You advise them for instance on K8s, Serverless Infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and AI/ML.

Your role:
Automate to the max. As a Cloud Engineer you will be a part of our cloud team responsible for continuous integration, innovation and management of our internal and customer’s cloud infrastructure based on different cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. In these environments you work on projects and solve all sorts of automation, security and other issues for our customers. Happy you, happy customer.

You:
As you go you align people. Both in process and technology. You like to discover and surprise. Analyzing is your nature. Scripting, python, java or another programming language a no-brainer. An entrepreneurial culture is appealing to you.

Your toolbox:

  • Higher professional education (work and level of thinking), preferably computer science or equivalent;
  • Experience with various Linux distro’s and/or Windows in a cloud-environment such as AWS, Azure or Google. Certificates are appreciated;
  • Experience with developing scripts that can realize automated deployments such as Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, PHP or Perl;
  • Knowledge of IP-networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewalling;
  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA en REST), VMware vSphere & vCenter;
  • Knowledge of and experience with automation tooling such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SCCM and Github or -lab;
  • Knowledge of multi-tier applications, web platforms, AI/ML, Datalakes, K8S, Docker or Serverless;
  • Experience with managing large databases, SQL or NoSQL;
  • Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce and/or TFS);
  • Dutch and English language (written and oral).
